Short answer: yes — wash & fold works for sensitive skin and baby clothes. At Polanco Laundry in Arleta, just tell our attendant your preferences at drop-off, such as cold water or a special detergent, and we'll follow your instructions. Bag baby clothes separately so they're easy to identify.
Why Some Families Are Careful With Laundry
Babies' skin is thinner and more sensitive than adults', and some adults react to fragrances or dyes in detergents. That's why many parents and people with sensitive skin prefer gentle, fragrance-free detergents and cooler water. With wash & fold, you don't have to give that up — you just tell us what you need.
How to Request Special Care
- Bag sensitive items separately. Put baby clothes, burp cloths, and crib sheets in their own bag.
- Tell us your detergent preference. Ask for a special detergent when you drop off.
- Ask for cold water if you prefer it — it's gentler on many fabrics and helps prevent shrinking.
- Mention any stains. Baby clothes see a lot of spit-up and food. Point out problem spots so we know.
Wash & Fold Pricing
